USPA NEWS - Elisabeth Borne, Minister for the Ecological Transition and united Emmanuelle Wargon, Secretary of State to the Minister for the Ecological and Inclusive Transition have announced the shutdown of the coal section of the Gardanne-Meyreuil power station expected by 2022: Signature of the framework document which fixes the base of the future Pact for the ecological and industrial transition of the territory. Emmanuelle Wargon, Secretary of State to the Minister for Ecological and Inclusive Transition, went yesterday to Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône) to sign a framework document which sets the foundation for the future Pact for ecological transition and industrial site, to support the shutdown of the coal section of the Gardanne-Meyreuil power plant planned by 2022.

Emmanuelle Wargon, Secretary of State to the Minister for Ecological and Inclusive Transition, went yesterday to Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône) to sign a framework document which sets the foundation for the future Pact for ecological transition and industrial site, to support the shutdown of the coal section of the Gardanne-Meyreuil power plant.---------------------------------- planned by 2022. The Government has brought together the Territorial Pact Steering Committee (State, local authorities, economic actors), in order to draw up a draft contract intended to ensure rapid revitalization of the territory. In addition, the Government´s will is to enhance the attractiveness of the Grand Port by developing new economic projects to offset the impact of the shutdown of the coal section of the Gardanne-Meyreuil power station.
